Clement Afreh, CEO of @CBCInc_Hypes I asked Adepa Zela to tell him about her song with Ada Gold, the inspiration and how it came to be. She answered saying that the song Nyame N’oye came to her towards the finals at the MTN HitMaker competition. It was a stressful time for her as she was battling sickness for 5 years and amidst working and all.
At the finals for the event, she the stress got her to break down crying as she didn’t know what song to do. So she put all she was feeling her pain her illness, and struggles on paper and she made a full rap song which she performed at the hitmaker finals which she won.
People suggested that she added a singing verse to it, since people didn’t know her as a rapper. So she wrote the Ga verse about what God had done for her and how He can do same for others. She also got Ada Gold her best friend on the Project Fame show to put a verse on it.
The piece is a lovely one. And it will encourage you and increase your faith in God because GOD IS GOOD.
