Harmonizing Dreams: TMC’s Inspiring Journey in Musical Recording – Alvina

I, Clement Afreh, couldn’t make it for Michael Appraku’s (aka TMC) live recording. Unfortunately. Since I didnt want to miss the experience entirely, I reached out to one of his BVs, who is a mutual acquaintance and I asked her to tell me about her experience from the beginning of the vision till the event day. And this is a story of her journey.

TMC shared his idea of recording last year, expressing concerns about whether people would show up. However, I assured him that there were many people who loved and supported him.

Months went by without any updates on the recording until I reached out to him in February of this year. He promised to get back to me, and I patiently waited.

In the latter part of March, TMC shared an anticipated video, which was soon followed by the distribution of flyers. Excitement started building up.

Shortly after, TMC approached me and asked me to join his team as a backup vocalist (BV). I was thrilled because this was something I had been eagerly anticipating.

Rehearsals began in April, and I instantly fell in love with all of TMC’s songs. Each one was beautiful, but “El Elyon” stood out to me, not just because my mom was featured in it. I found myself singing and playing the guitar to this song when I was alone at home—it became my favorite.

TMC was always the first to arrive at rehearsals, patiently waiting for hours before the rest of the team showed up. Every time I saw him, I could sense his frustration and stress. This was his first time undertaking such a project.

As an experienced Musical Director (MD) myself, I did everything I could to support and alleviate TMC’s stress. I helped with arrangements for the other team members, aiming to make the work easier and create a better atmosphere.

TMC handled everything himself. He served as the MD for his own program, and even during the recording process, he directed the team. It was clear that he was fully committed to every aspect of the project.

On the day of the recording, I could sense TMC’s nervousness and agitation. Some unexpected issues caused a delay in starting the recording as scheduled. Despite these hitches, I could see his excitement about the entire experience, which was contagious.

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it. It was a wonderful opportunity to minister alongside people who not only have a deep love for God but are also musically gifted.

I was truly touched by her story. God really places your vision into the hearts of others so the can help you bring it to pass.

God bless you Alvina. It is my prayer that every MD gets an “Alvina” or two in their ministry.

From the updates I saw on people’s stories, statuses, social media posts and pictures posted, the excitement in the room was to the roof.

MOG, Empress Gifty, Okopi Peterson, Efe Grace and Rev Ifueko Charmien ministered powerfully. A special MOG, Empress Gifty, Okopi Peterson, Efe Grace and Rev Ifueko Charmien  appearance of TMC’s Dad, mum and brothers ministering with him on stage, was the icing on the cake.

Anticipate the release of all the beautiful songs and their visualizers soon.
