The Royal Rangers Of LWC AG Donate 1000Ghc To HEAL KOMFO ANOKYE Project

The Royal Rangers of Living Waters Chapel Assemblies of God Church in Kumasi had the privilege of hosting Prof Dr. Otchere Addai Mensah, the CEO of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). As he stood before the young audience of about 90 boys and their teachers, he shared a poignant tale of his life journey, recounting how he faced the stigma of being a child born out of wedlock, the pians his mother bore as she raised him solely as a single parent. He also shared as he endured being labeled the black sheep by his step-siblings and father for many years.

The room was filled with emotion as Prof Dr. Otchere Addai Mensah spoke about the challenges and obstacles he had to overcome to reach his current position. Gratitude filled his words as he acknowledged the individuals who had played crucial roles in supporting him along the way.

In his address, Prof emphasized the pivotal role of prayer and hard work for success in any field. He passionately urged the boys to embrace these principles, encouraging them to pray, fast, and work diligently. The Royal Ranger were inspired by his words, motivated to persevere and achieve their goals and aspirations in life.

Following a session of questions and answers, excitement filled the room as the children said a prayer for Prof and took pictures with him, capturing this memorable moment in their young lives. The connection formed during the event was palpable, and the boys were visibly thrilled.

As the meeting drew to a close, the Royal Rangers presented a generous donation of GHC1,000 towards the “Heal Komfo Anokye project”, a cause spearheaded by Prof Dr. Otchere Addai Mensah as the CEO of KATH. Prof expressed amazement, gratitude, and blessings for the boys, acknowledging their kind gesture that would contribute to the success of the project.
