Makafui shares that Adwoa Agyeibea, is a dear friend with whom he has shared the stage for the past 6-7 years, She has been an integral part of his musical journey. Promising her a feature on multiple projects throughout their friendship, the collaboration on “Enough” was a fulfillment of that commitment.

Makafui continues, “The genesis of “Enough” traces back to 2018 when I initially penned it during a creative session with SASA (Speakers, Artistes, and Singers’ Association), a dynamic arts group at KNUST. The song, as initially conceived, had one verse. However, when the time came for recording nearly two years ago, I sensed the need for a second verse to enhance the song’s mood and balance.”

“Inspiration struck for the second verse, and I instinctively knew that Adwoa would be the perfect fit. Having shared the vision with her, I sent a recording of the song her way. Her immediate love for the piece set the wheels in motion. The recording, a testament to our musical synergy, took place almost two years ago, in early 2022. Now, with the grace of God, we are delighted to share “Enough” with the world.”
