MOG Shed Tears When He Receives A Gift From Harbour City Mass Choir

And MOG cried! The Harbour City mass choir surprised him with a Jean Paul USA TR-330 trumpet at its Christmas at The Harbour City event at Alisa Hotel Tema C11 last night.

The MC, Ebenezer Foli Yevu called the next act who was to be introduced by Ps. Nii Okai. He started with a narrative of a young man who said wanted to be part of Mentor music show (aired on tv3). This gentleman after opening up this next phase of his life to Nii Okai was given a word of encouragement and was told that, “he was greater than mentor”.

Nana Yaw Boakye aka MOG is this minister and in his own words, he had longed to join mentor but out of respect for Ps. Nii Okai, he discarded the idea, waited on God and things begun to blow.

As part of Harbour City Mass Choir’s appreciation and honor to one of Ghana’s best musicians, Nii Okai on behalf of the choir presented a special memorial gift to Minister MOG. A Jean Paul USA TR-330 Trumpet LE. At the sight of the beautifully wrapped box, he teared up. His jaw dropped and this shock on his face was spot on.

MOG was speechless and played the trumpet so full of emotions. He couldn’t hold the tears from dropping.

His speech touched everyone present and his angelic display on the trumpet with the tunes of Oh how he loves you and me amazed and blessed all who were present. He was grateful to HCMC and the Board of trustees for the impact and influence in all aspects of his life.

The night continued with worship tunes and unending praises. The reigning Praise Achievement Award Artist Of The Year, ministered his latest song MALA with the HCMC. 

A Christmas well spent.
