Meet Phil-Mak, a rising gospel star who hasn’t been given much attention. Starting in Koforidua, he’s led worship events, released impactful singles, and now anticipates his album, “Satisfaction.” Phil-Mak, formerly Markwo Philip, served as a backing vocalist in Koforidua before emerging as a powerful minister in the Upper East Region. Over the past five years, he has organized worship events, leaving a trail of amazing testimonies in Navrongo and Tongo-Sheaga.
In December 2020, Phil-Mak received a divine blessing with his first single, “Obeye” (He will do it). His musical journey took him to Navrongo Fountain Gate Chapel, where he served as a praise and worship leader, later becoming the head of the choir. Relocating to Bolga in 2022 for work, he continued his service as a praise and worship leader at the Fountain Gate Chapel Desert Pastures.
Phil-Mak’s discography expanded in 2023 with the releases of “You are Wonderful” in May and “Saviors” in December, showcasing his evolving artistry and devotion. Now, he’s on the brink of launching his highly anticipated album, “Satisfaction.”
