The Blood Crew has dropped its new single dubbed BONGO MEDLEY. This medley contains a beautiful collection of Ghanaian tunes.
It starts with Mommra b3 so hw3, Yehowa Yie (translated: Come and taste and see, Jehovah is good) You know you are in for a treat when the melody of the song is sung by the whole team in such sweet unison. The harmonies that followed, wooooosh. Sweet choice of notes for that chorus.
The next song was Mommra m3 hw3 no, )y3 )sahene (translated:Come and see Him, the mighty warrior).
Samuel Atiso craftly weaves in the next song, y3 hene reba o (Translated: Our King cometh). His vocals does justice to this song and carries the whole audience along.
I just love how MD Nana Quophi put in the work to get these lovely every Sunday songs to sound fresh in the ears. Kudos Senior MD.
Now I always expected the “Wo yo” chants to come from Sammy Joyous. So I was elated to hear Samuel Atiso spring that on us. Haha good job boy. So Atiso used that to usher in the next song “Y3 Nyame y3 ne no nam” (Translated: The God we walk with).
BVs doing the most on the harmonies of that )y3 Nyame kokroko. Ahhh collect your 3points guys. Trust me when I say that you will tap your feet, bob your head, or even get up and raise your hands and sing along to this tune.
Stop for a minute and share this to your church page, choir director, your boss at work, your class page, your old school page, and thank me later.
Thumbs up guys. God bless you for staying the course and keeping the fire ablaze in Kumasi.
