Kofi Owusu Peprah Fills Over 1000 Seats At The National Theatre For His First Concert Since Relocating From Kumasi To Accra.

The Multi-Talented Gospel Musician George Kofi Owusu Peprah popularly known as Kofi Owusu Peprah held his maiden concert plus live album recording dubbed “The Father’s Gift” at the National theatre on Sunday 22 May 2022.

History was made yet again as Kofi Owusu Peprah becomes one of the few (emerging) artistes to have a massive turn out at the National Theatre on their first ticketed event.

Over the years this Experience had a great impact on the lives of many people including generations with his favourite anthem “every time is worship time” George believes that he has been blessed with the same gift that God blessed his father with, the gift of being a good musician. In his own words, “I never decided to be a musician, I was born a musician.”

He explained to the audience that the Father’s Gift is a Generational Gift from God through a song when his father who was the Manger of a Timber company faced a serious challenge in the company as when things became though and God dropped this song in him in 1986. According to the gospel minister Kofi Owusu Peprah, the album was in honour of my father, Rev George Owusu Mensah, popularly known as ROPS of Matwen fame to celebrate his contribution and influence in his life.

The album “Father’s Gift” is intended to celebrate his dad’s 60th anniversary last year and it includes songs such as Big God and the Hit song Matwen which was originally composed by his father. He continued to explain that this song has been a blessing since the release and it continue to remind people of what the lord has done in their lives.

He again explained that the Father’s Gift Album which is his maiden project will contain a powerful 12-track featuring one of the gospel sensation, Efe Grace in making the Album an impactful on.

The program featured great artiste like Rev. George Owusu Mensah, Amy Newman, Niella, Ps Sammie Obeng-Poku Luigi MacLean, Efe Grace, Alice Yoliswa, Mimie Tenkorang and Shadrach Kwesi Mensah who ministered powerfully at the event.

Other Gospel artistes spotted at the event were Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum, Sissi Baidoo, Nii Abbey and Omari Jessi Jnr among many others.

The MCs for the event were Fifi forson and MzDru who added their amazing touch to the event to make the flow seamless and keeping the audience engaged.

One could spot other artistes and singers among the BVs. The likes of Kwabena Essah, Maame Adwoa Antwiwaa, Enuonyam who are his fellow Love Gift Band mates, and Bra Jones, Diviner, Shulamite, Atiso, with Nana Quophi (founder of the blood crew) as the MD for the team.

The band comprised of Barima Okyere on bass (band head), Felix Agyemang on drums, Kwaku Obeng Boateng on guitar, Abraham Kokuro, Tomas Asamoah and Isaac Obiri Siaw on Keys, Ekow Joe on sax.

The gospel bloggers were present to bring Live updates from the event to your handsets as it progressed. @CBCInc_Hypes @Christian_Vibes_Gh, @worshippersgh etc we’re present.

Pheeew this was an amazing event. I cannot wait for the videos to be released so I can relive those moments.

Kofi Owusu Peprah and his management are grateful for the patronage and support from all industry players, the media and the fans. He says remember that #EverytimesIsWorshipTime.
