Over the years this Experience had a great impact on the lives of many people including generations with his favourite anthem “every time is worship time” George believes that he has been blessed with the same gift that God blessed his father with, the gift of being a good musician. In his own words, “I never decided to be a musician, I was born a musician.”
He explained to the audience that the Father’s Gift is a Generational Gift from God through a song when his father who was the Manger of a Timber company faced a serious challenge in the company as when things became though and God dropped this song in him in 1986. According to the gospel minister Kofi Owusu Peprah, the album was in honour of my father, Rev George Owusu Mensah, popularly known as ROPS of Matwen fame to celebrate his contribution and influence in his life.
The album “Father’s Gift” is intended to celebrate his dad’s 60th anniversary last year and it includes songs such as Big God and the Hit song Matwen which was originally composed by his father. He continued to explain that this song has been a blessing since the release and it continue to remind people of what the lord has done in their lives.
He again explained that the Father’s Gift Album which is his maiden project will contain a powerful 12-track featuring one of the gospel sensation, Efe Grace in making the Album an impactful on.
