Conti and Katanga, be told, you have been cheap in your recent behavior, yes to all who joined and/or encouraged those who joined to vandalize things on KNUST.
You have energy but misplaced and misguided.
When you see a man on the streets, naked, it is only because he has a mental problem. No sane mind will walk naked on University campus and environs and cover only his face. You are no different.
Imagine if you two halls had sensible leadership and rather came together in healthy witty competitions in providing solutions to problems in your community.
Imagine partnering to mentor SHS students and doing community outreaches and engagements.
Imagine putting up a program to ask industries for their problems and leveraging your energies to solve them.
Imaging serving as volunteers or ambassadors for corporate firms and developing a skill and a resume.
You have been misled by most of your alumni who are out there, many who do not have jobs and have brute energy to waste.
I just sat in a public transport and the driver described you as primitive.
Let me tell you, you’ll complete KNUST and walk out alone to face the world. That’s when you’ll realize you could have spent your energies on better things.
When I was in first year, I saw my Hall President rusticated for 3yrs and only came to complete with me in final year.
Life had a way of hitting you hard. Some of the people you are fooling with have money at home but the majority of you……..perhaps even struggled to enroll.
When you keep moving around for non-existing jobs, which many of you would, I bet you, reality will hit home hard and you’ll realize that life is beyond stone throwing, vandalism and foolish bravado on campus.
And this is coming from a Katangese of 2006.
