The timeless gospel music trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, is set to grace the stage once again this year with their highly anticipated concert series. For over three and a half decades, this evergreen trio has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of Ghanaians, blessing audiences with a repertoire of hits and soul-lifting songs that have transformed lives.
Over the past 14 years, their Annual Musical Concert, *Glorious Praise*, has been a beacon of their ministry, bringing people close to their message and contributing to the advancement of the kingdom’s business. However, the shadow of COVID led them to virtual concerts from 2020 to 2023. Now, with gratitude to God, Glorious Praise returns in full force this year, making up for the missed opportunities of the past three editions.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, the trio plans to offer a triple dose of their timeless tunes and energetic, life-transforming ministrations in Accra, Kwahu, and Kumasi.
Cynthia, the leader of the dynamic trio, expressed her enthusiasm, stating that this year’s Glorious Praise is shaping up to be one of their best concerts ever. “We have carefully selected a lineup of artists to join us on all stages as we aim to revive our spirits through music this year,” Cynthia said.
Edna emphasized the decision to include Kwahu in the lineup, explaining, “We noticed that Kwahu is the busiest place during the Easter holidays, but unfortunately, there aren’t enough, if any, Gospel events during the season. We shouldn’t forget that the reason for the season is to remember the death of our Savior, hence our decision to be in Kwahu on Easter Sunday for this year’s Glorious Praise.”
Monica shared that this year’s program holds special significance for them as they have partnered with Breast Care International to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer patients who struggle to afford treatment. “Embarking on any project that directly affects women is dear to our hearts. We call on everyone to join us and make this year’s Glorious Praise a memorable one,” Monica added.
The concert series kicks off in Accra on March 24th, Palm Sunday. Kwahu will host the next event on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2024, followed by the Kumasi edition on April 14th. Join the indefatigable trio as they raise their praise to our maker. See you there!
