Ghana’s Gospel Legends Unite: The Birth of LeMAG

The Legendary Minstrels’ Association of Ghana (LeMAG) is a historic collective of veteran gospel musicians who helped shape the nation’s spiritual and musical culture in the 1980s and 1990s. These ministers of music, through their God-given talents, inspired faith, strengthened Ghana’s cultural identity, and impacted generations across borders.

Formed to recognize, support, and unify these legendary voices, LeMAG creates a platform for welfare, fellowship, legacy preservation, and mentorship of future gospel music ministers. Many of these pioneers, once celebrated nationwide for their uplifting songs, have since faded from the public eye with little support in their later years.

The inauguration of LeMAG on 25th September 2025 marks a new era of honor, unity, and sustainability in Ghana’s gospel fraternity. It is not just a celebration of legacy, but also a call to action. By supporting LeMAG, individuals and organizations will help:
