Kofi Owusu Peprah Grateful To Kumasi For Turning Up For The Father’s Gift Oseikrom Edition

Kofi Owusu Peprah, successfully hosted the Kumasi edition of his event, The Father’s Gift 22, and he is grateful to Kumasi for the massive turn up, the love and support shown on the day. 

He is the son of the gospel trailblazer, Rev George Owusu Mensah, popularly known as ROPS, who wrote the song MATWEN AWURADE ANIM.  Kofi Owusu Peprah, no doubt has continued his father’s legacy and made him proud.

It was a historical night at Grace Baptist Church Kumasi as worshippers filled up the venue despite the fact that it was Kofi Owusu Peprah’s first event in Kumasi and it was ticketed. The event held on Sunday, 16th October 2022, has left an indelible mark in the minds and hearts of many patrons in Kumasi.

Kofi’s management team announced the ‘Father’s Gift’ Oseikrom edition after the successful and most talked of edition in Accra, Ghana’s capital city. It was expedient to extend this event to Ghana’s second largest city. Kumasi, which is where the singer hails from.

This event is dedicated to celebrating the impact of his father, legendary gospel singer Rev. George Owusu Mensah, in his life and the life of many across the country.

The artist was in his element, treating patrons to spirit-filled gospel songs from the old to the new. Kofi invited his father to perform alongside him. It was exhilarating to see the bond between father and son as they ministered his rendition of his father’s song, together on stage, to the admiration of all in attendance.

The guests on the bill for this Kumasi edition were, Jojo Arhin, Sammie Obeng-Poku and Lordina The Soprano, Samuel Darko Jnr, Rugger Quarm, Phelyks Kwabena Agyemang.
