Kwaku Sakyi, after six years of dedicated hard work and perfection, is ready to unveil his second studio album, a true masterpiece. Set to be released on May 26, 2023, the album is entitled “Letters from God (The Cocktail Project).”
Kwaku Sakyi, a highly anointed and spirit-filled minister of God, possesses a remarkable gift for writing and composing authentic gospel music across various genres. From a young age, Kwaku, hailing from Akuapem Tutu and born into a family of music enthusiasts, was captivated by the power of music. His journey to develop this gift began when he joined the school choir as a tenor singer at Saint Johns Grammar School. Seeking to refine his skills in composing and ministering gospel music, Kwaku sought guidance from seasoned gospel ministers like the late Danny Nartey and Pastor Hellen Yawson. During his time in tertiary school, he actively participated in contemporary choirs both on and off campus, driven by his love for music and the desire to nurture his gift.
In 2011, Kwaku recorded his first single titled “Glorious Lamb,” which garnered significant airplay on various radio stations. In 2014, he established his ministry as Ebenezer Osei Sakyi Ministries (EOSM) and later rebranded it to Kwaku Sakyi Ministries (KSM). Through his ministry, Kwaku has been able to share his musical talents and minister at numerous secondary and tertiary institutions. He has also had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed ministers of God such as Cynthia Macaulay, Selina Boateng, OJ, and SP Kofi Sarpong, among others.
In 2016, Kwaku released his debut album titled “Jesus,” featuring hit tracks like “ESE WO,” “TUMI WURA,” and “ASEDA.” These soul-stirring songs continue to touch the lives of many who stream and purchase them on various digital platforms.
Kwaku believes this album is a unique offering due to its rich content, creativity, and its incorporation of multiple genres, earning it the nickname “The Cocktail Project.” In creating this album, Kwaku considered factors such as age, culture, and diverse musical tastes, aiming to reach a broader audience with the gospel message. However, he emphasizes that the unadulterated word of God remains at the core of the album’s content.
Kwaku invites everyone to experience the depth and beauty of his seventeen tracks when the album officially launches on May 26, 2023. It is an opportunity to be inspired and uplifted by his profound musical expression, which promises to resonate with people from various backgrounds and walks of life.
