Joe Mettle’s Praise Reloaded 10th Anniversary, THE KADOSH attracts massive turn up from patrons, fans and followers of Joe Mettle. The Joe Mettle Ministries (@joemettleministries) and the @lovegiftband decided to have a 4 region The Kadosh tour of the country. The Praise Reloaded tour started from Takoradi, then to Koforidua and then came to Kumasi.
THE KADOSH, Kumasi slated for last Sunday, 5th of June, 2022 at Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), Kumasi-Ghana was massively attended with many rushing for the tickets on the day of the event. Tickets for the event went for 30Ghc regular, 50Ghc double and 70Ghc VIP.
On the bill were @mogmusic, @ohemaamercyofficial, @kofiowusupeprah and Pastor @SammieObengPoku.
On the morning of the day of the event Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy and MOG went for church activations to conscientize them about the event.
The gate was opened at 4pm and the crowd trooped into the CCC church auditorium and it was amazing to see how the place was almost full before 5pm. Kumasi really turned up for this concert. The double and regular seating were full to capacity leaving just a few VIP seats for reserved guest.
From the moment the program started, the atmosphere was already charged and it was glorious as Pastor Bernard Yeboah Twumasi, the MC for the night, led the opening prayer and also sang a Moses OK classic.
Sammie Obeng-Poku was first to minister. He ministered two of his songs “Wo ye Onyame” and “Song of Yahweh” and leading the church in a time of worship.
Kofi Owusu Peprah was up next also ministering powerfully his rendition of “Matwen”, his biological father’s song which he dedicate to Sokoohemaa Kukua Adepa who is a radio presenter who travelled to Kumasi just for the concert. After which he did another song of his “Big God”
MOG was the next minister taking the audience through with is all time favourites “Oh Be Lifted” and “Hallelujah”. He then shifted gears and got everyone to their feet with his local praise medley.
Up next was the queen of Gospel Music, the one and only royal mama, Ohemaa Mercy. She ministered prophetically and encouragingly singing her songs like “Mere nwo”. She also did her VGMA rendition of her award-winning song “Ote Me Mu” with MOG. And Just when we thought it was over, and the BVs had walked off stage, the band played the intro for “Aseda” and it was the last jam.
Finally, the host Joe Mettle and the Love Gift band mounted the stage and as the prepared to minister the Sound engineer Jonathan Kakraba, played the latest single “Great Jehovah”. The audience sang through the whole song and the roar of audience shook the building. Joe ministered in songs of worship and adoration. He ministered “Bo noo ni” with Luigi Maclean. He ministered songs from his albums back to back. including “Ye obua mi”. You could see Kumericans singing the song in Ga. That alone speaks volumes.
Joe mettle took some time to show appreciation to the Founder and Head pastor of CCC, and the Church for their support.
He also showed his wife some love on stage. He appreciated his mother and gave a testimony on how God has brought them thus far. He appreciated his team, the sound engineer, the light and projection team, the production team etc.
He also specially appreciated a lady who booked 40 VIP tickets for her team and flew them from Accra to Kumasi just for the Kumasi Kadosh. That is such an amazing feat.
He also gave special thanks to the media personalities in Kumasi and the Kumasi team who worked tirelessly to make the programme a success. The likes of Papa Sconti, Clement Afreh, Nsanku Pekay and all who contributed to make KADOSH, the Kumasi edition a success were appreciated. And finally, the the audience.
The program ended as early as 10pm but it was greatly satisfying.
God bless Joe Mettle and his ministry and more grace to do more.
