Legendary gospel musician, Michael Oware Sakyi, popularly known as Minister OJ, has launched a new project in partnership with Silanem Productions to reach the deaf community. The project involves the incorporation of sign language in his music videos to make his music more accessible to the deaf community.
Minister OJ stated in an interview that his heart and passion have always been to help the deaf community, and he believes that this initiative will go a long way in raising awareness of their needs in the entertainment industry.
The project begins with a sign language video of “Ma ye se mo pen,” with many more to come. Richmond Baidoo, the CEO of Silanem Productions, expressed his gratitude towards Minister OJ for thinking about the deaf community and initiating this project. He believes that this project will motivate and heal many. Minister OJ’s music is known to bring healing and encouragement, and this initiative aims to reach the deaf community and bring them these benefits.
