Clement Afreh (CA): Welcome to another exciting edition of New Release interviews. Today, we have the privilege of hosting the talented gospel artiste, Nana Egyin Buadu. Nana, thank you for joining us today.
Nana Egyin Buadu (NEB): Thank you, Clement. It’s a pleasure to be here.
CA: Let’s dive right in. Your new song is titled “Won Kyen.” Can you tell us what inspired this song?
NEB: Certainly, Clement. The inspiration behind “Won Kyen” comes from 1 John 2:15, which reminds us not to love the world or the things in it. Our love and passions should be solely directed towards Jesus. The song is a reflection of our desire to dwell in His presence.
CA: That’s powerful, Nana. Who wrote the song?
NEB: I had the privilege of writing “Won Kyen” myself.
CA: Impressive! Now, could you share with us your last released songs and their availability?
NEB: Last year, I released two songs: “You Said It” and “Till I Want No More.” Both tracks are available on digital platforms and YouTube for everyone to enjoy.
CA: Excellent. Now, let’s focus on “Won Kyen.” What message would you like listeners to take away from this song?
NEB: With so much happening in the world, my prayer is that “Won Kyen” will catapult people into a heavenly experience, helping them realize their position in Christ.
CA: That’s beautiful, Nana. Where can people find “Won Kyen” for streaming, downloading, or purchase?
NEB: “Won Kyen” is available on every digital platform worldwide. You can find it on your favorite streaming platforms, and it’s also available for purchase.
CA: That’s great to hear. Now, if someone wishes to invite you for a program, how can they reach you?
NEB: To reach me for program invitations, you can contact my management through our email at throneliferecords@gmail.com.
CA: Thank you, Nana. Now, let’s talk about the support you’ve received so far. How has the media, churches, fellow gospel artistes, and corporate institutions responded to your music?
NEB: The support has been overwhelming, Clement. I’m truly grateful for the incredible support from the media and the Christian community in Tema and beyond. They have played a significant role in pushing the song forward.
CA: That’s fantastic to hear. Now, Nana, do you host your own annual music event? Can you tell us a bit about it?
NEB: Certainly, Clement. We organize an annual event called “Time of Reflection” at the beginning of each year. This gathering serves as a time for reflection on the previous year and anticipation for the coming year. We come together in worship, praise, and prayer, and it’s during these sessions that most of our songs are recorded.
CA: That sounds like a powerful event, Nana. Finally, do you have any final words for the gospel and Christian music fraternity?
NEB: I want to express my gratitude to everyone in the gospel and Christian music fraternity. Let’s continue to do what we do to the glory of God, knowing that our music carries a powerful message that can touch and transform lives.
CA: Amen to that, Nana. Thank you once again for joining us today. Before we go, please share your social media handles so that our listeners can connect with you.
NEB: Absolutely, you can find me on all social media platforms at @nanaegyinbuadu, and you can also subscribe to Thronelife Music on YouTube.
CA: Wonderful! Thank you, Nana, and we wish you all the best with “Won Kyen” and your future endeavors.
NEB: Thank you, Clement. It’s been a pleasure. God bless you.
CA: Likewise, Nana. Thank you to our listeners for tuning in to this interview with Nana Egyin Buadu. Stay tuned for more exciting releases in the gospel music scene.
