Pastor Fonis Poku donates essential learning materials to students of St. Bernadette R/C JHS, fostering education and hope.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, 2025, Pastor Fonis Poku extended a heartfelt gesture of support to the students of St. Bernadette R/C Junior High School by donating essential stationery items to aid their academic journey. The initiative stems from Pastor Fonis’ commitment to creating positive learning environments for young minds, especially in underserved areas.

Following her own research into the school’s needs, she identified a significant gap in basic learning tools. In response, she generously donated:

• 300 pens

• 150 mathematical sets

• 200 exercise books

• 300 rulers

• 5 English dictionaries

Every student from JHS 1 to 3 received at least one of these vital items, ensuring no learner was left out. The donation was warmly received by the school administration and students, who expressed their deep appreciation for the timely support.

This initiative reflects Pastor Fonis’ belief that empowering students with the right tools is foundational to their success. As an education advocate and gospel minister, she continues to inspire change—one school at a time.
