GNGMA 22 last Saturday was impressive as we witness some good ministrations from some gospel musicians at the just ended Ghana National Gospel Music Awards. It was a sweet rise from the calm performance from Afia Sika, to the praise jam from Joshua Ahenkorah and Quame Gyedu, to the energetic performance from Kobby Salm and Evans Scott as well as the urban gospel family.
Bethel Revival Choir taking the atmosphere to another level. The queen on the block, Piesie Esther, gently took her turn with a lovely twist to her intro. The current female vocalist of the year Celestine Donkor, gave us a wonderful performance intertwining it with some Ewe renditions.
The night was full of fun and joy. GNGMA2022 was full of joy and excitement as many patrons couldn’t hold their joy but dance their heart out the whole night. The event ended with Diana Hamilton emerging as the artist of the year.
