Praise Train is a worship and testimony gathering which began 7 years ago where music and singing, dancing and palmistry, poetry, and admonishing are raised in honor of God! This year the theme is ‘GOD OF ALL PROVIDENCE’ reminding us even amid questions, hardship, confusion and such that God provides, has a will and a plan that cannot fail us because His love for us is great.

To me, Praise Train is an assignment, and I say this because of how it all began. One warm night in August 2016, I was awakened from my sleep with a burden to pray, as I prayed, the words ‘Honor Me’ kept ringing in that familiar voice I know.  As you would imagine, my question was, ‘How Lord, honor you how? And to be honest, I had no clue at that moment what will honor God aside obedience. So as the voice rang on in my mind I kept praying, ‘Lord I hear you, but please tell me more, I need you to tell me what to do  – I picked up a dictionary close my bed and opened it to the word honor; quickly I realized that there were several definitions to it; but of all the definitions, the one that I instantly recognized as the message in those two words was the very last one – To Reverence and Publicly Praise! – And there it was, the assignment made clear in prayer, to have a public gathering and praise God Almighty for who he is. Since then, for seven years, a message for every year was given as a theme for the gathering. – Ruthie Boat (Convener)

Praise Train debuted in December 2016- and you can tell from the flyer that it was an absolute banger with Akesse Brempong and Esias, sharing personal testimonies which encouraged us in our dependence on God and his word. This year will be absolutely soul strengthening and the weariness of many can be felt and heard on the streets on a daily basis. We will raise a praise to the GOD OF ALL PROVIDENCE! It is planned to be held at Christ’s Oasis Ministries, Airport City right behind Accra Mall, Empire Concrete roundabout on the 18th of December 2022.

And as long as there is a message, till the assignment is complete, there will be a gathering in December dubbed Praise Train. Come join the gathering in honor of God Almighty, hop on the train and let’s raise the praise that will honor God Almighty!
