Sarah Sansa’s much anticipated JAR of Incense 22 comes of on 19th August 2022. She plays host to Rev Nii Okai, Ps Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye, Ps Sheriff Rockson, John Schimot, Min. Nti Anane, Ps Zoe Mawufemor Lormenyo, Eliza Glory, Priscilla Odame and Joachim Nyame-Eshun.
Sarah speaks: When I was a little girl, I used to watch my daddy pray on his knees each morning but I never understood the essence of that posture until my encounter with the Lord in the year 2012. It was as if I’d discovered a new path to live, or as I always put it, ‘a new way to breath’. I understood the power of surrender, the peace found in brokenness and liberation. The knowing that I’d fallen into the arms of a mighty God, who loves me unconditionally, was greatest confidence even until today.
It was my reality then, but it’s my truth now. (I am just a girl who uses my voice in which ever way I could to bring people to experience the goodness of the Father n the sweetest and liberative form of worship. Hence in the year 2014, I began a Gospel musical journey.
Sarah Sansa said that her vision was to share to the world, the beauty in the love of Christ, and the liberation that comes along with it. After releasing my first Gospel composition, and hosting a musical worship service which recorded over 600 participants, in the 2015, I was amazed and overwhelmed by the testimonies. Many lives were touched and they found hope and new expressions in Christ.
In 2020, I began a worship concert project. The goal of this project was to gather people, especially, young people, for a worship experience with the intention and hope that people would encounter God for themselves, so that they could be renewed in their personal daily lives.
One truth I know of, and have kept till today is that, A LIFE TOUCHED BY GOD, NEVER REMAINS UNCHANGED; THERE IS ALWAYS A TURNING.
JAR of INCENSE, the Jar depicts ‘a vessel’. We’re vessels filled with baggage of struggles and life issues, presenting ourselves unto God for pruning. As we have an encounter with God we release ourselves as incense unto God and we obtain freedom from the very power of Christ. “JAR of INCENSE is basically a whole encounter with Christ”. (Rev. 8)
