On October 5th, Splendor Charity, led by Founder Grenda Sarkodie Addo, donated brand new clothes and stationery to the students of Gbekebli School in James Town, Accra. The charitable gesture as being part of their 10 years anniversary was launched on social media in August to select Ambassadors who were passionate to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.
This campaign emerged Cecila Boakye as one of the winners who led them to discovery James Town Gbekebii School. The children were visibly excited and grateful for the much-needed supplies.
Citing Matthew 18:4, “Whoever humbles themselves like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,” Grenda emphasized the importance of humility and service to the community. She expressed her deep appreciation to her team, the Splendor Family, for their trust and unwavering support. “This was possible because you trusted us to deliver, and we thank God for family like you,” she remarked, acknowledging the collective effort that made the donation a reality.
Grenda also extended her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the cause, stressing the significance of unity and generosity in achieving their mission.
The donation, which included essential clothing and educational materials, will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the students’ lives, further inspiring hope within the James Town community.
