A Testimony About How The Holy Spirit Debugged My Code.

Normally we pray for the ministry of the Holy Spirit of God and still do not involve him in anything we do. I’m led to tell you something that happened just this past thursday.

Wednesday evening I picked my laptop to finish a code I have been working on. The plan was to quickly finish before midnight and pray. People, I hit a rock and nothing I did to the code gave the desired results. By the time I realised, it was past 3am and I was still trying to figure things out. When it was around 4:30am, I decided to stop and prepare my daughter’s lunch. I intended to go to campus after dropping my daughter in school and give it to an expert to help out.

Before I started preparing for the day, I put on my music and started praying alongside. People of God, I never mentioned anything relating to the code in my prayer. I thought, “this is something simple I’m overlooking. An expert will get this done in seconds”.

I got to campus around 8:30am, went to an expert and we started working on the code. I had planned that, at most, by 9 am we will be done. It was a little past 12pm and we still had not solved the issue. We tried everything we knew; googled, read, called others etc. Eventually, I had to thank the expert and let him get back to what he was doing before I went to call him (We had no appointment and it looked like I was taking his day just like that. Even though he didn’t complain, I wasn’t comfortable with that).

Deep down, I didn’t want to bring the code home unrectified. I sat down for sometime when he left, not knowing what to do. I just said ” Holy Spirit help me”. People, IMMEDIATELY I had an idea to open a square bracket in one of my commands and define two things. That was it. Just like that the code was working perfectly. I started smiling and said ” eeei Holy Spirit so you’ve been around all this while and wanted me to just ask”.

This is not the first time sometime like this is happening. I remember some years ago in italy, i woke up in the morning and realised it wasn’t one of the usual days. I was just not happy. My mood was basaaaaaaaaaa like that. I went through my routine and never mentioned how i was feeling to God. Everything i did that day turned out well but i was very down and unhappy. That evening, my cameroonian friend asked if i would like to eat from the cafeteria before we left campus.

As i picked my meal chit, i remember saying ” Holy Spirit please let me smile before the day ends”. Now see what happened. We went to the cafeteria and for every meal chit, you are given a main meal( could be rice, spag, lasagne etc), side dish( salad etc) and a piece of protein. My friend was served exactly that way. When it got to my turn, the lady serving gave me two pieces of protein. When we sat to eat, my friend asked me if i bought extra protein and i said no. She said ” errrrrrhhhhh, then this woman likes you oooh”. I just started smiling and remembered i asked the Holy spirit for a smile.

Mostly, I feel somethings are trivial but that’s not how the Holy Spirit works. He wants to be engaged in any and everything. Just love on Him, fellowship with Him and you will walk in divine ease.

PS: if I’m led, I will tell you another thing the Lord did for me through the ministry of the Holy spirit in August. This one is BIG.
