Why Jesus (Probably) Didn’t Have A Manager

WHY JESUS PROBABLY DIDNT HAVE A MANAGER!

Almost every miracle Jesus did was unplanned not a planned event. ????????????.

    1. Feeding 5k

    2. Healing the guy through the roof

    3. Water into wine

    4. Woman with the issue of blood

    5. Stitching the ear back of the soldier etc.

The miracles were “interruption” and not planned or expected. They “spoilt” His normal schedule or plans and often defied the disciples protocol and expectations….????????????????????

What could this tell us about

    1. Accessibility to men of God?

    2. Compassion ?

    3. Availability to be used by God anywhere ?

This is not about others. But ourselves. Me Jerby. Am I too planned to be available?

How much advance notice do I need to be available to be a blessing to others?

How many managers must people go through to get to me? How malleable is my savings and investment planning to give to others….?? Mark 10:17-31 comes to mind. ????????????????????????????????????

There is a lady I met recently called Yasmin who shared a conviction about her life and ministry. She said she is Hineni ..

It means “ the answer is I’M AVAILABLE “

“What makes ‘hineni’ such a powerful statement? It is an offer of complete availability, of total readiness to serve. When we utter ‘hineni’, we make ourselves fully available to whatever it is God might ask of us. It’s not based on our schedule suitability nor like for the assignment or what we could get.

Even without knowing what that might be. The answer of ‘hineni’ is one of faith.

I took this paragraph from research online.

It really humbled me. So so powerful yet contradictory to how secular world typically operates. Secularism has slowly sneaked into ministry systems that we now even teach in church and conferences. It’s become part and parcel so much that anyone who speaks against it is instantly crucified.

Topics like copyright, contracts for ministry service have come from the world systems and from us trying to protect ourselves, our gifts, our intellectual property. Hmmm. Now it’s all ours isn’t it? So before we are available to be used by God to heal etc poeple must meet our now learned criteria. ????????????

I don’t condemn it all. I do understand and appreciate why it exists but Like Jesus, Am I that available? Am I that accessible for use? Do I have enough faith to abandon my plans to be available to serve others? That’s ministry actually and not just the grand stages and events or even church alone!!✅✅✅✅❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Do I Jerby feel disrespected when people don’t honor my protocol or schedule? Will I allow interruptions in my life out of compassion? How do I respond to interruptions? Hmmmmm

The more I study Jesus and his life ( aka ministry) the more I realize how far I am from looking like Him..God help me!!

    Prayer:

Lord help me know that surrendering to you Jesus includes surrendering the gifts, plans, schedules and time. Teach me to live that too for without Love for you and those I serve it’s all useless ( 1 Corinthians 13)

    NB:

This post doesn’t mean managers are bad. I’ve had some pretty amazing human beings managing my studio. The message is more about the everydayness of ministry over only special occasions. It’s about availability to be used in and out of season. Repenting daily.

FYI I’m currently now really learning this!! It’s a complete mindset change for me! Hopefully it helps you. But before you adapt it check the Bible yourself. Read the book of Mathew!

Thanks for reading this. May God begin to stir in you a desire and strength to be available for His use Selflessly!!!
