Today was an auspicious day as Rev. Dr Victor Osei was consecrated as a bishop. The programme began with music from the praise team of Family Chapel International (FCI) led by minister Jojo Arhin. They serenaded the arriving audience to gospel tunes.

The sound of the shofar ushered in the great men and women of the clergy, with other dignitaries as they walked in and took their seats. Spotted were Bishop Gordon Kisseh, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, Rev Ifueko Charmien, Bishop Sackey, Prophet Kusi Boateng, Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, Prophet Benard ElBernard Nelson Eshun, Rev Jerry Gyamfi and many sons and daughters in ministry to the bishop designate.

The choir sang the hymn “All Hail the power of Jesus Name” followed by then High on High. Jojo Arhin continued with a worship session beginning with “Oh Be lifted by MOG”. It was a sight to behold the Papas of the land sing MOG’s song.

The MC was ———- and he reiterated that this consecration ceremony was done under the auspices and direction of His Eminence, the Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams He introduced Archbishop Kenneth W. McNatt (USA) who was going to assist in this ceremony. College Of Bishops of Action Chapel and other patriarchs and founders were also acknowledged. He then said the opening prayer. After which he introduced and welcomed Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams who had taken his seat. The first Bible was taken from Psalm 122:1-2 was read by The MC led the gather to recite the creed. Rev Ifueko Chamien led the choir to sing Ancient Words. The second Bible reading was 1Timothy3:1-7 was read after which Rev Ifueko Charmien and the choir sang “I pledge allegiance” The word of God was given by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams.

In the introduction of his sermon, he stated how he and the bishop designate met and how they shared a father-son relationship and haven’t broken that bond or covenant till date. He also talked about some of the errors in the charismatism.

He emphasized that Mantles don’t come by reading books, and hearing the messages of some people He described this as ignorance, an error, arrogance and pride on the part of such people who believed that no one was worthy to consecrated or anoint them because of their affluence, influence, numbers of members or followers, numbers of books written or achievements. They claim that “I don’t have to serve under anyone”

After the sermon, the offering was taken by Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah Next was the Consecration ceremony carried out by Archbishop Ken W. McNatt, with Rev. Dr. Victor Osei responding accordingly.

The bishop designate and his wife Veronica Osei knelt down on the podium and hands were laid on them and they were prayed for, anointed and imparted by the Archbishops and the clergy.

Bishop Dr. Victor Osei gave a vote of thanks and acknowledged everyone who was there and with his wife, took a few pictures with the two Archbishops present. Archbishop W. McNatt said the closing prayer and led the procession as the choir led by Jojo Arhin sang “Aseda nyina y3 wo de”
