Some of who performed on the nite. MOG ministers Ote Me Mu with Ohemaa Mercy which also won BEST COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR AWARD on the night. After which he ministered songs from his own discography including doing a song with Joe Mettle on which Joe was featured.
Those who picked up awards on the night were undoubtedly well proven winners in their various fields of endeavor. Dr. Sonnie Badu was the one who announced the winner for the penultimate ARTIST OF THE YEAR award. It was so obvious that MOG didn’t expect this awards especially after Joe Mettle had picked up 4 awards already. He was the likely choice. So imagine how surprised everyone was when MOG was mentioned.
MOG thanked the management, Royal House Chapel, other nominees and everyone who made the award scheme possible. After receiving the coveted Artist of the Year Award he said,
“I honestly didn’t see this coming. I want to dedicate this award first to God and again to My Spiritual father. See, listen to me, every young minister here I submit to you let’s submit to spiritual authority, because that is the key to success and let us honour those who have gone ahead of us, let’s give them the respect. Everybody in this category God bless you, team MOG God bless you, Royal House God bless you! To God be the glory.”
But that’s not all MOG has been up to lately. He just released a new single, titled Mala, from the album Koinonia Phase I which he ministered live at the Praise Achievement Awards. The single is about the wonderful work of Jesus’ salvation in our lives.
In addition to his new single, He is also hard at work on an upcoming project. He is keeping details under wraps for now, but we can’t wait to see what He has in store.
