Ohemaa Mercy Wins 3 Awards At the Praise Achievement Awards

The Ote Me Mu hitmaker, Ohemaa Mercy, picks up 3 awards in the inaugural edition of the Praise Achievement Awards.

The award ceremony was held at the Oil Dome, Royal House Chapel, Kaneshie Roundabout at 4pm. The Red Carpet started from 12pm to 4pm. 

Ohemaa Mercy is a Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer with several awards to her name, both local and international. Her song “Ote Me Mu” featuring MOG has won many awards in 2021 and 2022.

So it is no surprise that she picked up the following awards, in the Praise Achievement Awards:

1. Female vocalist of the year
2. Best collaboration of the year Ote Me Mu featuring MOG
3. Christian music event of the year – Tehillah Experience

She picked up the Christian Music Event of the year award with Efe Grace and Kofi Owusu Peprah flanking her on both sides. They also won awards in their categories. She picked up the Best Collaboration award with MOG who was featured in the song and who won the Artiste of the year award.

The Praise Achievement Awards was launched by The God’s family Music Ministry (Praise with One Voice) to recognize, unearth, spotlight, encourage and celebrate entertainers and entertainment industry players, who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their art and in their chosen fields of endeavor and honour Gospel musicians, producers in the country.

The event was attended by numerous well-known gospel music icons, media representatives, and sponsors, such as Stella Aba Seal, Diana Hopeson, Rev Dr Thomas Yawson, Amy Newman, Hannah Marfo, Sonnie Badu, Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Prospa Ochimana, Preye Odede, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, MOG, Piesie Esther, Obaapa Christy, Empress Gifty, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, Cwesi Oteng, Kofi Karikari, Efe Grace, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Perez Muzik, Soul Winners, Bethel Revival Choir, Harmonious Choral, Heavenly Jewels, Precious of Alpha Gospel, Jullie Kanz of Gospelspotlightgh , Zhikay of Gospel2me, Clement Afreh of CBCInc_Hypes, among others.

It was refreshing to enjoy Ohemaa Mercy render her award winning song Ote Me Mu with MOG on the night.
