The 2024 Winepress Conference, hosted by Harvesters International Christian Centre, concluded on January 26th. Held at the 50,000-seater Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, the four-day non-denominational event, led by Pastors Bolaji & Omowunmi Idowu, attracted worshippers nationwide, both physically and virtually.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu expressed gratitude, stating, “God uses our ministry to reach so many people, affirming their faith, working miracles, and spreading the gospel.” The annual conference, a significant spiritual encounter, focused on the theme of Prayer. Pastor Idowu delved into scripture, outlining the blueprint for a successful prayer life.
Worshippers gathered for prayer, praise, and exhortation, joined by ministers Sunmisola Agbebi, Abbey Ojomu, and Mr M and Revelation. With over 500,000 virtual attendees on platforms like Youtube and Instagram, the conference reached a broader audience. A healing clinic provided restoration, resulting in powerful testimonies, such as the dissolution of a breast lump and the healing of various ailments.
The conference closed with an Impartation Service at the church’s Headquarters in Lekki Phase One. Winepress continues to serve as a bridge, connecting Christians across creeds and denominations, showcasing the Holy Spirit’s power during times of faith struggles. The growth of the event highlights its impact as a source of spiritual succor and restoration, making it one of Nigeria’s prominent religious gatherings.
